V3i coil vs Frequency

Hi all,
Its probably been asked before , but i was wondering what frequency is the 2D coil better matched for on the V3i.?
Tho it works over a raange of frequencies, it must be better suited to one of the three.?

An antenna built for the exact frequency is far better at its job than one thats built for a range of frequencies. Id assume a coil is the same yes.?
 
I would have to say No. All the frequencies are multiples of 2.5.
 
Yep, 2.5 x 3 = 7.5 x 3 = 22.5. In general, running one at time will be hotter than all 3 at once. But you lose some great features. The best of which is simultaneous 3 freq pinpoint. Best feature of any detector out there.
