V3i and the White SEF coil

So on what coil option on the V3I do you choose when you run the White SEF SEF coil??? I did not see any opotions for coils other than the Whites. Any input would help. Thanks, Tim

The setting only affects the depth reading. You can leave it at the 10" DD setting. It's pretty close, I have previously selected the 12" concentric but prefer the 10" DD setting. you could bury a coin at a specific depth and actually see what is more accurate.

Hey thanks for the tip. I actually thought of just leaving it at the D2 setting and taking off but wanted to see what everyone else does. I am thinking of throwing it on and trying out the SEF as it does weigh less than the D2 coil. I know on other machines the depth is off and so was the ID numbers when I put on different coils. I see now why there is a selection for coils as you mention it affects the depth on pinpoint. Thanks again. Tim
