I have never bothered to see just how long a rechargeable pack lasts. For me me it can last a long day of hunting and that is all that is important to me. I also built a rechargeable pack with a higher Ma rating but it is not necessary, I just have time on my hands.
Remember a pack will not last all people the same amount of time. How high you run your WHP, and backlight will effect running time as well as the number of targets encountered and which frequency you are running. Single 2.5khz seems to use the most. [attachment 164086 Reading.gif]..........Rob

I have found that I get about 3-4 hunts per charge, my hunts last about 2 hours max. I have found that turning TX on really sucks the batteries down pretty good I generally figure that I get about 1/2 the amount of time on a battery charge with TX on. As far as the battery pack using alkalines I get about the same life out of them. But the rechargeable pack is my preferred pack, I would probably invest in a second rechargeable pack, it's worth it in my opinion. (or make one as Rob has done). I really just keep my regular battery pack around, in case I forget to recharge when I should.

I have never put battery life on the clock, but I can hunt two full days without changing the battery pack. I don't use Boost which extends life quite a bit.
