V3 turned into V3i

Saturday morning in Lombard illinois, my friend Tony,Electronic Exploration Inc, factory repair service, it took me 45 minutes to upload V3 too V3i, it cost $95 dollars for the job, he handled me new V3i manual plus DVD, i tried the detector, running very smooth,little falsing,using Eclipse shooter 4x6,how deep will it go? greg
 
You did a good Thing! Enjoy. Depth is a main thing but.................aaaah, target separates like no other machine on the planet.
 
You made a VERY GOOD choice by getting the upgrade. I think you will soon know that it was worth every penny of the money you spent.
Depth, well that depends on your settings, ground conditions etc, but I will say after my upgrade I gained approx 1.5 to 2.0 inches.

Just curious..sounds like you're close, did you drive the box over and wait, while he did the update? I've been thinking about doing the upgrade
after the ground gets to stiff to dig.

tony, very nice fellow, be wise ,saving 25 bucks,only 95 bucks, i am detected 30 years, 20 years after work,spent an hour detecting at this elmhurst park, in this short time,,10 wheats,3 silver coins,thats not bad, using a Red Baron detector,state of the art in those days, hows the baby? how old are you, 30 years? greg
 
I did the upgrade. Shipped detector on Friday. Had it back the next Friday. Talk about "turn around". thanks Whites. By the way, love the upgrade.
