V3 and MXT

cornman

New member
I love my MXT, and have recently purchased a new V3.
It seems the V3 is much slower reacting to targets than the MXT.
How do I speed the V3 up?
Thanks

The recovery delay adjustment covers the speed that the V3 recovers from a null or multiple targets. Keep in mind that the lower the number the faster the recovery. Most of the factory settings are plenty fast enough in my opinion. The exception is the deep silver program which gains depth by taking longer to analyze the target. Almost every adjustment is a two sided sword, gain something at a loss of something else, is a good rule of thumb. Welcome to the forum cornman.

As you lower the delay it will react faster but at a loss of depth. So adjust as you need. Rob

I seem to be using that adjustment a lot. Sure does help adjust to not only the type of hunting you are doing but to the mood you are in. Cranking the machine to behave like the traditional White's concepts, really lets you cover a lot of ground. For constently replentishing jewelry sites, it is a must. Setting it fast for iron filled sites is another biggie.
