Last weeks finds from 5 different locations from Idaho & Montana. Couldn't get into the oldies last week but redeemed myself with the V and a 1909 (no S) from a park in Idaho that I've never had any real success at, even 20+ yrs ago. Tuff park and hardly any high tones so I thought I'd try and bone-up on my nickel signals and managed to find the V. No silver.....maybe next week?

Thanks guys.... I normally don't chase nickels but the park I was hunting had very few high tones so I thought I'd pay more attention to the lower tones and try to bone up on my nickel signals. It paid off eventually (after lots of pull tabs/bottle caps)...think I've only dug about 3 V's since I started tecting 23yrs ago...????? It was a real treat for a change........Cruffler said:
