V.D.I confirmation on my first 925 silver ring

to tell the truth i was not watching my vdi when i found the ring i thout it was a +28 so today i put it on the ground and swung the coil over it and i was geting +77 lowest +80 highest tiz a beuty ring tho whish i could get pictures for you but cant it has a 1/4" x3/16"amithyst in the center surounded by orange colored stones1/16" and some nice ornamints on eather side and i did not mall it taking it out the only other thing i found at that park was a zinc penny and a U.S 38 win bullet an old one
 
If it's a Sterling ring that would be about right depending on the size of the ring...maybe a little different in the ground depending on how it was laying buried......Congrats my friend

Gunnar... take a look at THEBEEPGOESON dot com web site. He has some great examples and VDI numbers for most of what you might find.
