I keep reading the the vaqureo has a 3 1/4 turn put for ground balance.
Mine seems to turn forever, meaning I have never found a spot that it stops at.
do i need to send in for repairs?

It doesn't have a stop at either end. You will feel a slight drag at the ends, but it will keep turning.

That's correct - to keep turning it once it is fully adjusted to one end will make no difference. I have read turn it 4 turns one way and then back 2 turns and it will be roughly in the middle.
