:usmc: get er done !! :usmc:

I looked up one in the Dallas Texas area back in 1970, he went for a 2nd tour to Nam, we wrote for a while and after I got out, then the letters stopped. I went through the Dallas phone book and found him in grapevine.. The reason his letters stopped, he was hurt and was in the hosp. a long time. He was in a 105 Battery and our Air Force dropped some 500 pounders on the battery...

Those were the good ol days, cheap beer.

I stay in touch with Phil & kelley & Bill in Texas...

One of my good friends, when I was in, lived in Stigler OK.
I stayed in touch with him and went to see him.
One day I got a letter from his Dad, that my friend had been killed by a lighting strike, when he was in a boat with 3 other people, he was the only one killed...He humped a radio with some grunts in Nam.

How bout you ??
BJ
