Make sure you ask before hunting, city, county and park. I work in the area some times and have gone to some parks too only find out you can
 
Its ashame so many other people with metal detectors have spoiled it for the rest of us.
True, even if you try to dig the plug properly its bound to leave a brown spot, but there are also those people
who DON'T didg plugs but HOLES AND LEAVE THEM UNCOVERED!!!!!!! It's no wonder many parks are off limits to us.
