Using the new SE... Really neat on pin pointing...

I haven't had much of a chance to hunt this summer but we had that little hunt here in St. Louis a couple weekends ago. Most of the Minelab guys spread out to the local bad areas to hunt and I followed Golddigger and Mike on one of their guided hunts. I liked the new pin pointing a lot more then the old sound. Golddigger came over and stole the SE for a short while and immediately snared a Barber dime remarking how he really liked the pin pointing too. For some reason I was stuck with one wheatie after another but it sure hit right on and the soil was concrete. (We just can't seem to get any rain here.)

Still playing with the new machine and will report back again...

You are totally right about the new Pinpoint ! Very well done , The only reason you where not getting the SILVER GUV was the fact you where not digging the square tab signals !!!! All the SILVER I dug sounded like INDIANS are even a little lower into Square tab area !
The Pinpoint was very nice in the HARD ground to Keep from Missing on the first dig!!! Being Off a little in That hard of ground cost you a lot of time and a sore rist!
So HAT"S off to MINELAB for Another Great IDEA !!

The SE has some nice features with the pinpoint one of them plus I notice if you leave it in pinpoint with the X1 probe is don't get wild as fast like the older Explorers do. Also I notice too with the probe while in the hole you dug it seems to reset it self on the louder signals so they are not as loud. Out of all the Explorers I find the SE for me is the best Explorer I have used.
Being you are a long time Explorer user and probably used them all too I will be waiting to see what you think of the SE.
