Would it be possible to attach an antenna to the control unit that sticks out of the water when the unit is submerged and be able to receiver the wireless signals? The Deus uses this principle when the coil is underwater, so don't see why it wouldn't work with the Equinox. Any thoughts?

the wifi antenna is internal, there is nothing to attach an external antenna to.
