Would like to know if the metal detector will work properly in salt water and just wanna b sure it will b ok... and maybe any tips for areas that have been hit a lot in past with hurricanes. Thanks for the help

Pretty sure the 3300 has manual and automatic ground balance. You will need to use the manual balance if going to salt water beaches. Don't know how long you have had your detector and what your experience level is so if it is new to you spend some time learning how to ground balance it in different locations. Salt water beaches have lots of mineral deposits (hot spots) that you will have to deal with if going in the wet sand. Best to learn how to deal with that before hand so your time on the beach is more enjoyable. It is possible to achieve success with automatic ground balance but you have to know your detector very well and you will definitely work for it. Good luck and Happy Hunting.
