Useful link for old and new alike...

Sometimes one can get fresh ideas where to hunt, tips on machine use and lots more from reading newsletters from detecting clubs and from treasure magazines - as well as books (many available at local libraries and on eBay). The more you know the more you are prepared to find great things.

We know Mike from MI has found a lot of great old coins and am sure he didn't find them without doing some research. Though we might hear of some 'lucky' guy or gal finding something great by accident, that's the the exception to the normal way things happen.

Anyway here is a link to the club newsletter of the Southwest Michigan Seek & Search club (Plainwell, MI).

http://www.swmss.org

We have many people here who are club members (and even Officers in the club) - I am a member as well.

Check out the monthly finds and articles to see some of the things being found and to read and become more knowledgeable of detecting tips and locations to detect at.

Happy Ready and Hunting
