Useful Android apps - please add yours too!

Of all the apps available for the Android format, I have found two to be particularly of good use in this hobby. Both have free versions which I am currently using with great success and enjoyment.

LiveList is basically a list making app. Cool thing is you can check items off the list and they disappear from the list. (IMHO, BEST grocery list ever!) If you want them back up, you just select "uncheck all" and they are back. (You can also uncheck one at a time.) You can also assign priority levels to them (which changes their color) - very handy for 'to-do' lists. For our hobby, I use mine for my equipment checklist. With my failing memory being what it is, its really nice to just look at the list and determine which items I've packed and which I still need to get. I also keep lists of possible detecting sites, ghost towns, neighborhoods to door knock, etc. Super App!

Memento Database keeps track of my finds. I've created fields for Location, Date, Items Found, Contact Info, Detecting Companions and a check box of whether or not to return. Once again - a great substitute for my failing memory. I think there is a way to keep track of modern pocket change so that it keeps a running total, but I haven't figured it out yet.

These are my favorite apps for our hobby thus far. Would love to see yours!

Well, color me embarrassed. After bragging about how great LiveList is, I just found out it is no longer available on the Android market. I was crushed! I just received my Nexus 7 tablet today and the first thing I tried to do was to download LiveList to it. But, sadly, it is no more. I would be very interested in learning about other such apps. Thanks.

try Xspots treasure and AR Compass. The first is an app that lets you take a pic of your find. it records the coordinates, date ,time, depth, and weight. type of detector used and coil type.
The ar compass is a google earth based app that allows you to input waypoints into the map and write down notes about a specific area. they both work pretty well.

i use one called sticky note, to keep items on.

They have a minelab app, shows some different patterns and you can make notes and pics regarding your finds.

I'm technologically challenged enough (and a little paranoid), so I have to ask if including coordinates and a picture of your find could lead others to your spot? Is that possible or even realistic.

As for google earth, I had no idea it was available as an app.

Thanks for everyone's comments.
