used t2 or new omega 8000

Seen a used T2 for bout $600 but new omgea on the bay for $490
Trying to figure the. better deal
Never used eithef thinking of getting somthing different

Teknetics Omega 8000. The stock 10" elliptical concentric is a better performer than I had anticipated, and the 5" DD is extremely efficient in brushy and trash environments such as ghost towns, mining and logging camps, urban parks with abundant trash around the picnic areas, etc., etc.

I also think it is easier to learn and set up for most people.

Would be using it as a possible replacement for my XLT. Kind of tired the weight.
So it would be the typical hunting coins, parks, houses
But something like the Xlt that could do it all without the weight

Another thing to consider is that the Omega picks up some more value with the 5 year FT warranty on new detectors that you wouldn't have on a used unit.
