yes, 150.00 is a good price on a nice silver umax. the silver is a great little detector and with the 5.75 inch coil it is deadly on coins and jewelry in high trash areas. I own more expensive detectors but find myself using the silver umax more than my other machines. one of tesoros best machines in my opinion.
thanks
I will try it for awhile.
Just thought I reacted to soon to the seller.
I looked all over for used silvers but couldn't find any that were sold recently.
I just so wanted to get an idea of what they are worth used.
...for 7 years and it is still my favorite. The Tejon comes along and gets time in big fields and relic areas, but if coins and rings are in the ground, it's the silver.
No doubt about it. It has sounds, characteristics, and just stuff in general that's hard to put into words. Really, it's a peculiar detector that makes me wonder how I missed those coins with another detector.
I have to say, I have the Tejon that I love and enjoy the Vaquero, too. I picked up a Silver for a detector people could use if they want to try it out and one I can strap on my motorcycle and not worry to much. Well, as mentioned earlier, when I go to parks, I love that Silver. Turn it on and go and it likes coins and jewlery. What a ball to use. I know this detector can hunt in other conditions, but I just use it in the parks at this time. I like the Tejon for relics and the V is a good all around machine. Maybe I just really like Tesoro? LOL
