Headed out with my buddy Scott who also used his pi today. We both got a ring in a hunted out fresh water lake. Below is 6 hours worth of detecting in the water. The water was cold....and we could see a lot of people on dry land wearing jackets.....

Thanks for sharing John. By mid week I will have my Infinium LS with the 8" mono coil and will be using it Saturday and Sunday in freshwater also.

Nice finds, I'm going to try lakes and ponds soon.

I received my Infinium today and went to the freshwater lake I hunt and tried it out.

Let me start with the stock S-rod...... It's worthless.

Now that I have that out of the way, the Infinium was VERY IMPRESSIVE. After about 2 hours using it, I got the pinpointing down. The machine is actually very user friendly and pretty straight foward. I have hunted this lake very hard in the past, so I knew it would be pretty clean to hunt with the pi. I ended up after only 3 hours with 1 junk ring, 85 cents in clad, a pair of sunglasses, 6 Bobby pins, and 4 bottlecaps. There is alot of lake left to hunt. The Infinium in freshwater is defenitely a lethal weapon.
