used AT Pro on the way, question on going in the water

When I get this detector can I go in the water? Or should I wait till Garrett gets the new seals for the.leaking meter updated and send it in?

Can't wait to start using the AT Pro.

thanks,
Rick

First do this. Look on the front of the at pro, where its the logo, at the part where the display screen connects with the control box. You should be sure if theres a space there or not because water can get trough that space when submerged and that has been in my opinion the problem with many at pros including mine.
