used AT Pro in water?

I have a used AT Pro on the way and I am afraid to take it in the water because it might not have any warranty. Do you think I am right using it only for land hunting and don't take it in the water?

Thanks,
Rick

Rick....I'm pretty sure all of the AT Pros come with a 2year warranty. Since the model itself isn't 2 years old....it should still have a warranty. I'd proceed into the water. :D

Hi Rick.

The A T Pro comes with a two year warranty, I would try it in the water, if it leaks then Garrett will put it right for you .

Even if it is an early model it should have 15 or 16 months warranty still on it.

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.

Dittos. Better to find out now if it has water problems than down the road after the warranty expires. Enjoy it!

Just look at it like this...it IS under warranty, if it leaked and failed...you get a new one. They are supposed to be waterproof so why limit yourself. A bigger concern...do you have a good water scoop?!? You're gonna need it!!
