:usaflag:Yesterdays Hunt--Silver and Gold!!:detecting:

Work and Family obligations have recently been keeping my hunting to a minimum.

Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I headed out into a perfect morning of hunting yesterday at 8AM and spent 4 hours carefully covering a heavily hunted spot listening for those deep targets and came away satisfied with the results!!

Ist target-deep nickle, then a fist sized lump of very rusty iron, #3 was a barely heard signal but turned out to be a deep 1964 small class ring in 10K.

4 hours of hunting produced 1- heavily encrusted silver quarter that came apart when I pealed away the outer layers of corrosion, 2- thin silver Rosies and a few clad coins for the day!

Most of these were deep targets making me proud of how well Mr. Dual Field is still working and of course Diablo is doing a great job!!

My hunt diary says I have hunted for 15.5 hours and recovered 219 targets in 6 hunts since my last gold.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

PS Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there!!

Well done CJ, your experience has paid off again in that well hunted area. I think 15 hours is my wading average per gold found. It's a nice ring :) good luctk, et me know how long it takes to see gold again, I'm on about 10 hours so far.......

Good to see your GOLD posts again.....work and weather must be cooperating for you.....Nice ring!! WTG

CJ,
That quarter had been in the water a long time! Amazing you could still tell it was a quarter!
Congrats on the gold and silver.

How heavy is ring?

4.4 Grams = $80+ if my calculations are right!!

divided by 15.5 hours = $5.16 per hour!!!!!!

As anyone can see it's not about the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
