My Hunting Partner Frank and I met at the beach where I have recovered gold over the past month and he opted to hunt the "Scoop Killing" Beach one down from where I wanted to hunt.
Nearly all my recent hunts have been no more than 40-50' out from the water's edge, but today the sand was too deep for hunting there.
I decided to try the sand bar almost 100 yards out from the water's edge to see if things had changed out there and I was delighted to find I could actually find targets there.
They were still under fairly deep sand from 8 to 12" down, but generally were not to bad to dig outa there.
A little over 4 hours and 37 targets recovered, mostly keepers, made for a decent hunt in my book.

The spotlight finds were a silver Claddagh ring, a Kenworth Truck belt buckle, a mood ring I coulda sworn was a gold wedding band when I saw it in my
sifter and a pretty little apple charm that looks to be silver, but has no marks on it.
