:usaflag: When one part of the hunting grounds gets sanded in----------:detecting:

My Hunting Partner Frank and I met at the beach where I have recovered gold over the past month and he opted to hunt the "Scoop Killing" Beach one down from where I wanted to hunt.

Nearly all my recent hunts have been no more than 40-50' out from the water's edge, but today the sand was too deep for hunting there.

I decided to try the sand bar almost 100 yards out from the water's edge to see if things had changed out there and I was delighted to find I could actually find targets there.

They were still under fairly deep sand from 8 to 12" down, but generally were not to bad to dig outa there.

A little over 4 hours and 37 targets recovered, mostly keepers, made for a decent hunt in my book.

The spotlight finds were a silver Claddagh ring, a Kenworth Truck belt buckle, a mood ring I coulda sworn was a gold wedding band when I saw it in my
sifter and a pretty little apple charm that looks to be silver, but has no marks on it.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

Glad you posted, was wondering how you were doing all day...we gotta big blow that should have plowed out some cuts, a heavy wind outta the South brought the temps up to 60 and ate up all the snow, so tomorrow, its off to the beach for starters, if the surfs too high, most likely it will be, I'll climb some dunes...Nice Finds!

Thanks for your reply Mud!

Hope things change in your favor Friend!

I try not to miss an opportunity to hunt, but since I still have to earn a living I am not always able to make it out there.

Add weather and wrong tide to equation and I am doing well to hunt as much as I do.

As hunts go I have been doing very well all things considered.

GL&HH Friend,

CJ
