Is there an un-written law that says all really huge rings have to be tungsten carbide, stainless steel, silver or 10K gold!!??

Two hours of hunting among incoming ground swells at the sheltered cove produced four quarters, five nickels, one penny a few pieces of scrap metal and the biggest wedding band I've ever found!

It slides easily onto my thumb and almost lets a quarter fall through it!

This heart stopper is tungsten carbide!!

My first such ring, almost as large, was stainless steel!

Oh well, another couple of hours of water hunting surprises, produced by Mr Dual Field and My Friend Diablo.

Nice find.
Must be a big dude that lost that one :yikes:

Could it be a toe ring... and aren't thumb rings popular in some social circles now?

On the other hand (no pun... ok, pun), I had a colleague at work some time back with a growth disorder that affected his head, hands, and feet. He was not an abnormally large guy but I couldn't get a grip shaking hands with him and I'm 6' 2"; his hands were freekin huge. He didn't say how rare or common it was. (Heck of a nice guy though.)

I read your post wrong!! I hate stainless steel, tungston carbide and titanium. If the 10K rings and the silver rings bother you so much. you can send that trash to me!!!

Got nothin against 10K, but I have noticed that the biggist rings I have found are among this group of metals.

The smallest rings are usually 14 or 18K!!

As for sending my 10K?

Not likely Friend,
