The third Target was a massive Tungsten Carbide ring, my second to date.

Later a brass ring minus most of its gold plating ended up in my sifter.

A dozen real pennies, none of which can be spent due to the bad condition.

5 nickles including 2 buffalos all of which are in bad shape!

3 sinkers, a large buckshot and a clad quarter too eroded to use except as scrap metal.

I have recovered old gold rings in this spot before and feel there must be more there to be recovered one day.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

PS The next time I post a gold ring (Surely there is one more out there with my name on it!!) remember this post and the mostly junk Mister Dual Field, Diablo and I recovered today!!

Just "keeping it real" folks!!

Nice Hunt CJ, alway enjoy seeing the OldMaster...out kicking butt!!

Good to see the great variety of finds in your hunts:clapping:

You did good. I also found a massive Tungsten ring a couple of weeks ago, sold it for $25, paid for the gas......I kept the gold ring. HH

I sure do appreciate your posts Joe. As one that has a want to jump in and go for it in the water, you have been a real inspiration to some of us. The beach that I go to does not ever get the traffic you get back on the East Coast, but the hunt should be worth it. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for your replies Friends!

For what gas is selling for in Connecticut where I live John you would have to sell the gold ring too!!
