As January winds down toward February weather plays a huge part in whether or not water hunting is possible.
After noon the S/E wind quieted down a bit and the ground swells got smaller so I decided to get in a couple of hours before dark.
Temps hit 45Degrees and even with a slight breeze heavy waders and thermals made the short hunt comfortable.
I usually prefer hunting when the sun shines, but no such luck today.
Did lotsa diggin in deep sand w/some stone, recovered 36 targets and called it a day. Took home 3-clad quarters, 1-clad dime, 2 Zincolns,1-nickel and one Mexican silver ring.

Mostly cleared out more junk metal and gave Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter a real workout!!
