:usaflag: Vaquero Tone

Bill in Texas

New member
:detecting: I have noticed that On my V, when hunting in all metal I get a two very distinctive tones. One when hitting ferrous metal and one when hitting non ferrous. I have not noticed so much on foil, but especially on larger objects like coins. It seem like a deeper softer tone. It does not seem depth related. I know the difference between deep and shallow target sounds. It does not seem to happen in the silent search mode (turned all the way down). Any other V users notice that? Is that normal? I must say that I like it as I am get used to reading it. I still dig everything in the sand, but it helps me know what I am looking for. The V surprises me every time I use it with some new little glitch that helps me read it. Bill in Texas :tesoro:

I keep tellin every body how discriptive
tha all metal is on tha Vaquero.

You are tha first I've heard that has noticed
tha way she responds.

I just think it is one of tha best features on
tha V.

Maybe some one else has gottin into it. It
is a great way to cruse.

You get better coverage with it because it
detects out to tha side better.

Lots of people don't hunt in all metal, but
for me, find it in all metal check it in disc.
At that point I have made my decision.

Sometimes I have to hunt in disc, but she
does good there also.

It's a good machine for sure.
