Most coin/jewelry guys (which are the vast majority of the md'ing population) are not much into the mind-set of an "axe head". And actually, even to most "relic-hunt-mindset" guys, they would just pitch an axe head by the nearest tree, as they are fairly common. (I've thrown away dozens of them from relicky sites I've worked). Unless you had some sort of "provenance" factor to throw in, an axe head, by itself, does not generate much interest (nor do square nails).

Your other little copper item would be a niche item though, perhaps to have oogled over on a specific forum like the fur-trade section?
 
I have heard that the Indians use to take the scrap metal from old wagon wheels and make arrowheads from them. Cool find.
 
Thanks for posting that. I've found a few square nails and a broken chisel. Never an ax head.
