30' or so from the water line in waist deep water it was so light it was almost floating in the sand!! (The pics make it look big, but 3.1 Grams it is small!!)

No doubt a drop from this year as it hadn't settled very far and is in great shape.

Recovered at about noon 1 hour into the hunt in fairly shallow sand (At less than a foot) and along with a Merc, several fishing sinkers and lots of junk rounded out a 31/2 hour hunt!

Wading from ankle to shoulder deep Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I had a great work out!!

Most of the next week is gonna be too rough for hunting, but when things settle down I hope to find some of the biguns lurking out there!!

That at least qualifys as a "welter weight" :clapping: you know those 1. something gr 10k wimmins rings are really the light weights...good job and really great you are still in the water!

Thanks for your kind words Friends!!

I just returned from the water's edge to check out present conditions.

Sandy hasn't arrived yet and beaches are already taking a beating.

Many waterfront cottages are taking a pounding and may well be lost.

Whatever happens we're along for the ride!!
