As I placed her son's lost ring in her hand, Colleen was visibly moved.

We chatted for a few moments and then I headed off to my first job of the day.

The nice bottle of champagne she insisted I accept had this note attached.........

Dear CJ,

Our family is deeply appreciative of your tenacity and generosity. We will think of you and tell your story every time we go to White Sands Beach!

Warm regards,

Colleen

38 rings found, 38 rings returned......one heck of a record! You are doing great! Kelley (Texas)

Thanks Friends for your kind words.

Most of the 38 rings were recovered in response to the owner or some family member seeking me out.

Several were rings I recovered and then searched for and found the owner.

In only one instance did I recieve no expression of gratitude and it was returned by a third party.

I still wonder about that one.

Have a great day,

CJ
