thou i served 22 years.... the true vets are people like Tilman who gave up not only his football career... but his life. My service seems pretty insignificant to the true heros of our county. For those who dont understand why we celebrate these brave soldiers .... make a trip to DC go to the wall then observe the changing of the guard at Arlington. A toast to those who raised their hand and made the pledge..... I thank you.

Same from this country also, my dad served with the British pacific fleet and was at Okinawa, but he managed to survive.
 
My thanks as well and especially to those who sacrificed their lives in the past, the present and sad to say the future. God bless them all and their families and God Bless America.

Thanks to ALL vets wether service was in wartime OR peacetime. To be a good nation, a benevolent nation, depends on our military strength at ALL times.
I pray that position dosen't diminish.
