From years of experience I know that one of the worse things for equipment and your body is to let them lie around unused!
The water settled down to a moderate ground swell this AM and I decided to take a chance to see what the recent stormy weather may have done with the sand covering the Rock Garden.
At dead low tide the sand bar 150' or so off the beach helps keep the swells in check and offered me a chance to explore conditions out there in the protected spot.
The first of 19 targets recovered in the 2 hours Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I spent water hunting was a 1942 Merc in good condition and shortly after a Silver Rosie from 1946.

Waves started to build as the tide shifted to incoming and until they started splashing cold water over my wader top I picked up these few coins and this nice bracelet, all deep with signals soft against the noise of the waves.
Two unavoidable splashes of very cold water in a row added a half cup each to the icy water already collected in my waders and sent me toward dry land after about all the fun I could stand for one day!!
Well friends, I got the hunting fever under control for another day and have three silver pieces to show for my efforts.
