:usaflag: Return to a school tot-lot

Bill in Texas

:detecting: I went back to the school tot-lot about 3 blocks from my house today with the Compadre. I, as several others have hunted this lot several times and it is supposed to be hunted out, but every time I go there I find something. I don't know how I missed the old large Las Vegas Mirage Dollar gaming token, as I have been over it several times. I guess it seemed too big and loud for a jewelry hunter. I had a nice 2 hour hunt that tested my patience. One token, 2 nickles, six pennies, two small pieces of jewelry and that sore back. I don't know if the drop is real, because I have not checked it out yet (I don't think it is). The other piece of jewelry is pewter I think. Bill In Texas :tesoro:

Nice job with the Compadre, in the so called hunted out lot.
I found a large gaming token last year, a little bigger than the size of an ol silver dollar. I almost passed it up thinking a large screw cap maybe a can down there. Something made me decide to dig. I was told it was from a Casino when they were in business in their first location. When they moved location, this gaming token wasn't made anymore. When I pulled that big ol thing up, I nearly had a stroke at first not knowing what it could be.
WTG Bill - I'd keep hittin it:detecting:

Hay Bill,

I too tend to over hunt tha closest park to me.

But, if you look at tha loot I have scored there,

it isn't a wash. It also hones my skills.

You did good squeezin out some finds.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

its easey to miss things whith that small coil but the E-D 180 picks up things other detectors will miss I hve found that the Golden is much more prone to masking than the compadre maybe why im finding it hard to sell of my compadre but i do need a 3x 18 coil but i like the way the compare can cut thru the ground and clean up everything
