A couple of days ago I scouted an area searching for aspot where the sand had "thinned" out enough for some chance at finding gold.

Capt. Kidd hunted this area a few days ago and pulled some interesting pieces of junk jewelry that got me wondering if-----------

Yesterday, 4 hours of hunting resulted in 51 targets (over half junk metal) with a couple of small silver to add to the pile.

The nickle is crumbling into shards of metal and the nails are left over from some fool throwing them into the water from the second floor deck of a cottage near by when it was built years ago. (I must have recovered at least 30 or more over the years!!)

This is the "flip side" of the treasure hunting coin I call payin my dues!

Frank joined me for the hunt and seemed to be having the kinda results I was haveing, lotsa diggin and not much worthwhile to show for it.

He was still at it as I dragged my tired Old Bones home!!
