:usaflag:The clad finds are somewhat pathetic. I know cwilk (Chris) finds that much in a few days.:super: Honestly, if I had spent more times in the clad fields I'd probably have my detector paid for. But I was more interested in old coins. Anyways...99% of my iron etc...finds pictured here... most of the big stuff from my own yard :surprised:!!!

Hey McDave, I don't find as much clad either...and it's ok with me lol. Most times I only find a few coins, but they are the old ones I'm interested in. What is your face value for this season so far?

:usaflag:I found $63.05 in (143)quarters, (230)dimes and (86)nickels. I have'nt counted the pennies yet though. And I have'nt included my silver finds, war nickels, buffalo nickels etc. Will have to tally up that when I have a chance.

The coins sure do add up quickly....so what you going to buy? A detector for the wifey? My wifey has no interest in detecting what so ever... :( But she sure likes the rings :)

You done good McDave. Don't take this hobby too serious and expect to get rich doing it. I just enjoy getting outdoors and having some fun with friends. It's better than being a couch potato watching those same boring TV shows.
HAPPY HUNTING
TRIPLE-SSS

Not any more. That is a great pile of stuff! I was saving everything for a while. It will overwhelm you eventually, at least it did me. I now save only items that I think other people might be interested in looking at. As for the clad. I was stockpiling it too a few years ago. It took me all winter to clean it up and turn it into the bank. My advice is get it out of the house as quickly as you can before you find yourself buried in it. It does make an inpressive pile all together though, doesn't it.

You're doing great!

Chris

:usaflag:Thanks. I was going to put the clad in a pickle jar and put it away for a rainy day. But I will probably use it towards my next big purchase, whatever that may be.
