:usaflag: Our first hunt after the Crud.

Bill in Texas

New member
:twodetecting: I am still not near back to normal after the creeping crud, but my wife and I did get to a tot lot for a little time this morning. She found one piece of crumpled up jewelry that could be gold. I bent a piece off it and it shows no sign of tarnish. it is heavy and gold in color. I will have it tested by a friend later when I have several pieces. I did find 3 somewhat older coins, a 1967 quarter, a 1969 nickle and a 1974 dime. We were only there about 30 minutes before I wore out because of how weak I still am. I guarantee that we will go back to this one as it seems to have a lot of things there. Of course we both dug foil, tabs and the usual junk. Bill In Texas :tesoro:
