As of today I have recovered 39 gold rings, one platinum and one silver ring to the owners!!

The little Ace 250 performed flawlessly!

Craig PI called to ask if I would help a young man find his wedding band and within twenty minutes of the beginning of the dry sand search he had it on his finger. (Thanks Craig for another fun afternoon!!) (Check out the time on his watvh. We started at 4PM!)

One happy camper!!

Just before finding his ring I dug up this heart stopper and handed it to him and said I didn't think it was his ring and he was as thrilled as I to see all the glitter and shine!

Close inspection under magnification revealed no hallmark and too many imperfections for this to be real. (Maybe next time.)

Thanks for looking,

CJ

Its all about timing and U came through:thumbup:That is a very impressive return to the folks on the jewelry. Finders keepers losers weepers only goes so far Nice to C U R the winner here.

It took you 11 minutes??? What was the big hurry??? lol And half of that time you was finding that other ring!!!

SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!! Imperfections in diamonds shows they are real in some cases. They make the fake ones perfect .

Hi Flash,

Point well taken, however the flaws were in the setting such as where the finish was peeling away and the brass(?) underneath was showing through!!

The overall condition matched none of the many rings I have found over the years and left no doubt in my mind that this is "JUNK!!".

Regards and thanks for your reply,

CJ

Thanks blackie and inch my average is returning a little over 10% of my gold ring finds at this point! (Since 1982)

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

PS I might add that the majority of these rings were found with Garrett's Detectors, mostly PI units!!!!!!!!

Congrats! That really makes us look like heroes!

The people who approach me on the beach who have lost their rings are people who were neck-deep in water with 10 foot waves when the ring came off. I don't have a good water scoop yet and don't do too well in the surf...yet.

Nitro!!!! The definition is above!! Before I knew the proper names for these type items,,I was calling them something else!!! lol

I have the perfect example: Very large and heavy brass ring,,with a big round setting. Larger CZ in the middle, with a bunch of smaller CZ all the way around. It's marked 14k ,,,boldly inside. Beautiful looking thing!! When I dug it I really thought I had something good.

I still have a hard time believing it is solid brass because it always has a shine but it is duller than gold. If I buff it out. It will shine exactly like gold(beautiful) for a day or 2. I had it tested for gold,,,,,,,,,,and it Failed!!!

I still want to call something other than NITRO! lol

You're a good guy. You don't need me to tell you that but I will. You're a good guy!
