After a breezy afternoon with wind outa the south I expected to have problems with rough water and was delighted to find the water calm with a gentle swell where I was hunting at the Rock Garden.
My last two hunts produced nice gold wedding bands, but today's hunt produced a little silver instead.
The third target was a really nice Merc 3 years younger than me from 1944. (And in better shape than I am!!)
Careful listening to those faint signal responses kept targets dropping into my sifter resulting in a silver religious medalion, a silver hoop ear-ring, the Merc and a tiny possible.

The clad quarter was from 1965 and in great shape. (One year older and it would have been silver.)
3 3/4 hours of hunting producing 45 targets recovered (even if most of them were junk!!) is a good hunt in my book!!

PS Anyone know what those silver looking chains are made of?? I have several and they never rust or corrode. There's no hallmark to identify the metal.
