Yesterday my son who has two sons ages 6 and 4, told me of a special (I think) moment he experienced as a Dad.

He was visiting a cousin near where we live and the boys were sleeping for the first time on an air mattress on the floor.

He checked to be sure they were sleeping alright and found the youngest without any covers. As he adjusted the light blanket he had to disturb them a bit and he watched as his oldest son mostly asleep, rested his arm over his brother as he often does with his favorite stuffed animal.

In his semi-conscious state he ran his hand over his brothers face and head as his brother in an even deeper state pushed the hand away. He then raised his head enough to get a blurry view of what he was touching and seeing that it was his brother, tucked his hand under his own chin and was instantly sound asleep.

A moment in time, a memory shared one father to another.

My son and his sons and life is good!!
