Subject: BAD WEATHER

I just got off the phone with friend living in northern North Dakota near the Canadian border.

He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.

The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force.

His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.

He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

Arkie John said he has 6-8 inches, I think he meant snow and that sucks for down there

Had to blanket up the horses tonight. They are saying around -3 for the low tonight. Hard January so far and December was no bargain either. Don't need anymore snow but they are saying another 2 or 3 inches tomorrow in some sections of the state and more Wed. Keeps down the skeeters for sure.

we are expecting more the next few days but no blizzards in the forecast. Not too cold though, around +20 right now.
