At 7:10AM Eastern Standard Time Ol Sol peeked over the eastern skyline with a spectacular display of colors which I shared with a local constable.

At the left edge of this second photo is where the sun rises at its extreme northern travel.

As I am catching the shifting colors of the sun-rise my friend looked over his shoulder to the west and exclaimed, " Look at that!"

There climbing out of the western horizon was a beautiful mid-winter rainbow to celebrate the glorious sun-rise.

Wayne, a beach and snow doesn't fit into my way of seeing things either!!

It's easy to understand how the Ancients could worship the sun!!
