something worth posting!!

Since my last post I have water hunted 4 times for a total of 161/2 hrs and 234 targets recovered.

Yesterday after 41/2 hours into a 5 hour hunt Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and I recovered this 1.17 Troy Oz. silver beauty.

It was a drop from this year, hardly tarnished and close to the water's edge.

The entire area was sanded in pretty badly with one spot thin enough for recovering a couple of pocket spills and a few scattered coins for a total of almost $3.00.

Many bits of aluminum and bottle caps.

The beach was a half hour and 20 stop lights away from where I usually hunt and this find is enough to cover the cost of gas and maybe a large coffee!!

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

that is a nice find ...Cupajo .....my beach is getting filled it ..AGAIN

Very nice find. Dont dismiss the stones as it seems that they are starting to put some diamonds into silver jewelry these days.

Maybe in better quality silver jewelry?

Found "China 925" on the back and 925 on the clasp ends so I expected to find glass "stones"!!

I was right!! (I appreciate the heads up Friend!!)

CJ

PS Many thanks for your replies Friends!!

Well done! Thats a heap of silver for sure!:clapping: I'm sanded in here...may get one more crack at it with the "gales of November" coming!

Thanks Friends for your replies!!

My Hunting Partner and I scouted two sites we had never hunted before yesterday and they were both sanded in.

What was interesting was how neither of us had mentioned taking a scouting excursion and we bumped into one another at a an out of the way, small community beach neither of us had ever been to or mentioned before! (It was maybe a 60 mile drive for him and maybe a 20 mile drive for me.)

Talk about being on the same "wave length"!!

GL&HH,

CJ

It's about time you and your friend Mr. Dual Field found something nice!! Glad your still out there pounding the waves, or having the waves pound you. Congrats on finding something that can put some money in your pocket.
