3 hours and 41 targets recovered was about all this Old Hunter could manage before Ol Ma Nature sent in waves that threatened to toss me up onto dry land!!

Summer cottages line this beach and have for over a hundred years. Most are seasonal with a year round home here and there among the hundred or so in the area.

Just about every hunt I have had along the 1/2 mile of beaches in this small town has produced bullets of every kind from 12Ga. deer slugs, to Buck shot, musket balls and quite an assortment of rifle and pistol bullets.

Todays hunt resulted in 7- 9MM pistol bullets, 1- 7MM rifle bullet (One of the longest bullets I have seen in this caliber.) and a lead ball of about .40 Cal. all from a swimming beach!

Fishing sinkers and tackle of one kind or another are no surprise, and part of just about every hunt here, but I can only wonder about the bullets.

An old Canadian silver dime was a surprise find, but gold and silver jewelry and/or coins remain illusive. Maybe tomorrows hunt??

Nothing to get excited about so I haven't posted lately.

Nice that your cleaning out the shooting range.
Silver is always nice to find.:clapping:
Gold could be in your scoop tomorrow.

at least urs have been fired this are my bulets last 3 hunts the small one is a hollow point 38mm

I find them land hunting too. I found one in a childrens playground in the mulch. Thankfully no kids were around when it hit. Or maybe it was in the tree they mulched. either way, I have my share from the land hunts.

I recently also found two old silver Canadian dimes. One from 1941, with King George, the other was 1953 with young Queen Elizabeth. I also found a Mexican coin in Minnesota, this surprised me when I found it.

These kinds of finds are among many things that make this hobby fun for me!
