I don't think so.

59 clad coins totaling $10.30. No silver but the two Sac Dollars made up for that I think. They were a foot apart. Managed one wheat, which I think may be a 1917. Letting it soak for a while.

It started snowing towards the end of the hunt.

Courage, MrDave. Lots of snow in between us but none here yet. It's been cold, wind and drizzling rain fro the last two days;. Already I'm going stir crazy. I fear that it will be a long winter.

Really nice haul for a last hunt. TheSac dollar is a nice find. I found one modern dollar (Andy Jackson, I believe) and an Eisenhower dollar. Those are my only two. l wish they were more commonly in use in this country. They are really rare finds.

Eh..I'm not angry that you are still in the 60's Chris. We were all ready for winter a month ago. It's actually kind of nice for a change...which is a very disturbing statement in this group of hobbyists..ha-ha!

The wheat penny is in fact a 1917.

And maybe..just maybe I don't have to take the batteries out of my detector just yet..
