:detecting: One of my step-daughters lives in a house that I would guess was built before 1950. Well we went for a visit and I took Ole cowboy (Vaquero) with me. I hunted there a little about 2 months ago and today about 1 1/2 hours. Of course I dug pull-tabs, iron, foil, nails and etc. which I threw in the trash. Boy is this yard full of trash. I only got about 3 real clear signals in a hour and a half. My son in law says there is a ring there and told me about where it was. He said if I found it it was mine, but I have not found it yet. I did find a tin soldier (Indian) that was about 1/4 missing, which they wanted, so its not in the picture. Yep I will hunt it some more when I am over there. I never got the V ground balanced very well because I could not find a place where there was no trash. Most Items were about 3 to 5 inches and most of the trash was closer to the surface. Not much difference between trash and treasure today. Oh well - Bill in Texas :tesoro:
