Well I have been showing all the rusted nails, wire and etc. that I have been digging in my back yard. My house is about 35 years old, but there must have been something here before. Now I am looking a little deeper and still digging a lot of junk, but today I found a couple of more interesting items. The little brown bottle (3 inches long) has an Anchor Hocking hallmark and a 7-3-41 date on the bottom. I found it by the rusty tin plated screw cap which fell apart. The residue inside looked like Potassium Permanganate. It was about 5 inches deep. The oval pin is a thin brass football with a flag in the middle with Albert Richards on it and All American club around the bottom. It is about 1/64 inches thick 15/16 long and 5/8 wide (emblem and letters embossed and rolled on the edge). It was about 6 inches deep. I looked it up on the Internet and found that it is from about 1930. They can still be bought in antique stores, but I think that a lot of them are reproductions. I used my Compadre today.
