Frank and I met up to clear out some more junk metal from a stony spot at one of our local beaches.

The idea is to get all the easy targets outa there so we can focus on the deeper targets and it's working!

Frank found a broken gold ring and I found this medallion down among the stony sub-strate.

The little Merc was perhaps the 5th target Diablo dumped into my sifter.

The medal came a couple of hours later and brightened my day with its golden gleam visible down through all the stuff in the sifter.

Careful searching for the chain yielded no results and from the size of the little disk I suspect it was a tiny chain which may never be found.

A little over 4 hours of careful searching yielded 33 targets and gave Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter a real workout!!

Me too Raven!

This has been the years for enteresting finds.:clapping:

A hunter never knows for sure what will come up with his scoop-load of sand and stone.

That moment of anticipation is what drives this hobby more than anything else and that's OK by me!!
