My Dual Field, my "Poor Man's Back-Hoe", and I were "at it" early this AM!
The tide didn't drop as far as it needed to for me to thoroughly explore the wash out without getting one of the swells over the top of my waders.
(Weather permitting, tomorrow AM will find me in a "dry suit" exploring the wash-out)!
An hour of skirting the edge as deep as I dared wade netted this gold ring without a hallmark.

It is on the small side and has been sized to inlarge it.
From the corrosion at the splices and the color of the rest of the ring I'm pretty sure it's 14K.
Six or so of the last rings I have recovered were all about as small as rings get.
Maybe all af them melted would equal one nice man's wedding band!
Oh well, all gold is good gold,
CJ
