Air Temps hit the mid-40s this afternoon and at 2:15PM Mr. Dual Field, Diablo and this Old Hunter started hunting the deep side of a local sand bar where I was sure the sand should be thinner than most of the area closer to shore.

21/2 Hours and 29 targets recovered, 1-large (3"OD) bronze ring with a bronze mounting bracket and nails, 1-silver bracelet, a toe ring and a small ring and a 1933, 10K class ring. (Notice hammered finish on the ring and the heart shaped opening in the brass device and the small heart pendant.)

When my left rubber glove leaked enough to soak my hand I decided I had about enough fun for one day and headed home to thaw out in a hot shower.

My third 2.5 hour hunt in this area in the past two weeks. The 1st resulted in clad and junk, the 2nd in clad, junk and 1- thin Merc. and today.

The hunts have all been cold and glove leaks have been the only discomfort except for dealing with waves while wading in deep water in waders.

2 layers of high tech thermals, 7-Mil. Cabella's Spring Thaw waders, and rubber gauntlets have kept me warm enough and a couple of times I found myself perspireing when digging hard.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

i have been wondering what is up with u !:clapping:

good to c u posting gold again

Thanks for your replies Tom!

"33 is inscribed in the ring.

Weather and work load can cause problems here during the winter that keeps this Old Hunter on dry land,
