:usaflag: Infinium Day!!:detecting:

When I stepped into Long Island Sound for a couple of hours of hunting this afternoon, the Infinium tuned up and ran as smooth as it ever has in the few years I have owned it.

I found several coins going back over the ground I have been hunting with my Dual Field.

I may have missed them or perhaps the LS with the 8"Mono is a getting between the small boulders better.

Suddenly my day was shattered with loud, crazy signals that blotted out everything.

I tried to frequency reset and couldn't quiet the beast down.

It occurred to me that the local electric Amtrak Train must be passing by and I would have better signals in a while.

Hunting with the LS in a busy aircraft "flyway", near a train track and a boat channel is just too much of a bother sometimes!

It also occurred to me that this problem is why I stopped using the LS and went to the Dual Field.

As things settled a little I got a good signal and managed to recover this nice little 18K woman's wedding band with the LS.

The machine was still too noisy for me though and I switched to the Dual Field for the next hour.

A nice silver bracelet and a few more clad coins rounded out my day.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting Fellow Hunters,

CJ

Thanks Craig!!

I was looking through the finds and was surprised to learn that the silver bracelet I located with the Dual Field is a Tiffany from 1997 of their design from 1837.
