A little over two hours of hunting yesterday and my Infinium with the new 11X14 Mono coil and I found 1-Merc. (1925) with very little oxidation and a few clad coins.
Only yards away I have recovered coins almost destroyed by corrosion.
The heart stopper of the hunt was this ring.
When I saw it in my "Supper Sifter" I was sure I had platinum or white gold!!

Closer inspection revealed that it wasn't quite heavy enough to be of precious metal and I actually had a pirates ring of what appears to be stainless with no visible hallmark!

Today I found a small silver bracelet, 3-clad quarters and 5- pennies along with a couple of pieces of fishing tackle.
After two hours of swinging the Infinium I switched over to my Dual Field for an hour and a half and found it to be much easier to swing through the water.
This was my first direct comparison of the two machines.
The Dual Field is much lighter and quieter than the Infinium and I found it to be much more comfortable to use where I hunt for treasure buried among the boulders on the Connecticut Shore.
